History
The city of Glendale dates back to the 1880s when a group established a canal that brought water to the surrounding areas. Its early success came from the creation of the Beet Sugar Factory, which played an important part in bringing in more migrant settlers as well as transporting goods to the north with the help of the newly constructed railroad.
